Okay, I’ll be honest—this book is not for the faint of heart, but wow did it sink its fangs into me. Blood Aria is a dark, modern re-imagining of Dracula’s legacy, and following his daughter, Irina, was like stepping into a gothic fever dream I didn’t want to wake up from.
C.C. Matthews doesn’t hold back—there’s blood, there’s horror, and there are scenes so spicy and twisted they made me clutch my Kindle and whisper, “Oh no… but also, oh yes.” The atmosphere is rich and decadent, and Irina herself is magnetic—equal parts tragic, terrifying, and alluring. She’s not your sweet, swoony heroine—she’s messy, dangerous, and utterly captivating.
The warning labels are there for a reason—violence, gore, explicit scenes that push boundaries, and plenty of content that will rattle some readers. But if you crave a story that bites hard and lingers long after the last page, this one delivers.
For me? Blood Aria was the perfect storm of horror, heat, and heartache, and I couldn’t look away.

This book made me upset I have a job and can’t just read! I was hooked from page one until the last. It had amazing detail and just enough of everything that you will continue to want more even when it’s finished.
I had many emotions while reading this book but the one that was there throughout was need! I needed the next page and chapter and now I need another book. The ending jolted me and left me breathless in the best way!

Wow this was an awesome book. I loved the theme, characters, and the amazing writing skills. Highly recommend this insanely awesome book.
